Dear Colleagues,

As the Local Organizing Committee, we are honored to extend an invitation to you for the 15^th General Assembly (GA) of the Asian Seismological Commission, which will take place in Antalya, Türkiye, from November 3^rd to 7^th, 2024. Our primary goal is to bring together esteemed scientists who have made significant contributions to seismology and earthquake-related studies, aiming to conduct a successful congress.

The doublet earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş (Türkiye) that occurred on February 6, 2023, resulted in extensive loss of life and property across a wide geographical area. Therefore hosting of the 15^th GA of ASC in Türkiye, where such destructive earthquakes have occurred, has great importance. The conference will provide a platform to share scientifically, and technically significant studies related to recent destructive earthquakes worldwide, including the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes. Topics such as seismic hazard and risk, tectonics, geodynamics, scientific expedition of large earthquakes for the understanding of seismogenic mechanisms, volcano seismology, remote sensing, imaging of shallow and deep structures, induced seismology, advanced earthquake monitoring techniques and seismic networks, and artificial intelligence applications in seismology will be addressed.

The 2024 ASC General Assembly will be held in Belek, Antalya, Türkiye, a place where civilizations have thrived throughout history, and where the meeting point of green and blue creates a unique setting. We take pride in welcoming you to Antalya, the foremost tourism paradise in Asia and Europe, to discuss the latest developments in seismology and earth sciences.
